The University of Valencia, founded in 1499, is one of the oldest universities in Spain.
It is divided into four campuses: Blasco Ibáñez, Tarongers, Ontinyent and Burjassot-Paterna.
It has more than 65.000 students, making it the largest university in terms of student numbers of the seven that made up the university system of the Valencian Community.
